The Waka Horua is a wonderful metaphor for Waka Quest. As with Haunui, Waka Quest is built on a solid platform for conversations about Maori and Pacific traditions, lashed together and supported on twin Hulls represented by Te Toki Voyaging Trust headed by Hoturoa Barclay-Kerr and Navigator Tours led by John Panoho. Just like the great steering oar on Haunui, Te Whare Hukahuka o Tangaroa, Waka Quest maintains a steady course informed by cultural and commercial integrity navigated by John and Hotu.
